VTG Original MPC Mild & Wild Series 1971 Vega #1-7127-225 Unbuilt

Description: Bought in a collection, discovered this vintage MPC 1971 Chevy Vega kit. It was scattered in a loose cardboard box with other stuff. The box itself was nearly crushed, mainly the top. This rare kit had the instructions, so did something that normally, do not do. Copied them and enclosed them as a check list showing exactly what is missing. Not a whole lot, but with it being so rare, took this extra step. Only saw one of these for sale. Very expensive with no instructions. The only thing broken is the glass assembly, but it is a 1/8th inch area and an easy glue repair that would be NOT visible after assembly. Have been doing models 56 years and have seen this MPC model kit until this one. If this was an average model kit with the item quantity shown missing, would have listed this item as parts lot. But this kit is just too rare for that. Instead of a $275 " pig in a poke" here is a "know what you are buying" treasure. From a nonsmoker home, so no surprise odors upon opening the package.
