Description: Vintage Ventriloquist Edgar Bergen’s Charlie McCarthy Doll Toy with Original Box. Top Hat and Monocle missing. Item is barely functional. String is still attached to back of neck and lower mouth but too loose to function. It needs to be tightened to work well again. I think there are YouTube videos with instructions of repairing this situation. Shoes are attached by clothing tags. I read were they were hard to keep on. Item is dated somewhere between late 60s and early 70s. Small stamp size booklet and extra string found inside box. String must have been used for moving one of the arms or extra length for pull for mouth. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Ground Advantage.
