Since this game is so rare in this vintage, it has been difficult to accurately date the edition. Editions were first produced in 1916 by Milton Bradley, and this one resembles the few photos that are available. However, there is a slight possibility that this could be the 1923 edition? So, please study the photos carefully and do your due diligence to verify all of the information. One very interesting fact about this particular game is that it has been effectively dated by the method that was used to repair the box at some point in it's history! This game comes from the era where someone would use their sewing kit to professionally repair a damaged box, rather than fixing it with tape (see photos!)! This fact alone tends to date it to the early 20th century! The game appears to be complete, with the exception that the player pieces are modern. We have searched for appropriate player pieces to go with this game, but so far without success. It is believed that the original ones were wooden discs, and that later editions used cardboard rabbit characters on wooden stands.
