Description: Beautiful Christmas 1973 wood music box with Swiss Reuge movement. Plays "Silent Night". The movement is housed in a glass covered compartment so you can watch it play. The bottom of the box interior is lined with red velvet. The lid is decorated with a Nativity scene painted by Berta Hummel. The sides of the box are decorated with a field stars. The music box plays beautifully. The box is in excellent condition. This item is a bit of an international collaboration. It was made in Italy by ANRI for the German company, Schmid Bros. The artwork is my German artist Berta Hummel. And the music box movement is made in Switzerland by Reuge. A nice quality piece. Please see photos.
