Description: Elegant brass 5-arm chandelier by Lightolier, often attributed to the company’s well-documented collaboration with Finnish lighting designer Paavo Tynell from the late 1950s to mid 1960s. Produced in the US. Retains all 10 original glass globes, in excellent condition. 5 inner milk glass globes, and 5 exterior etched glass globes that reference the curvaceous form of the chandelier. Some areas of etching to the brass, as shown in photos, but overall presents beautifully. Rewired with porcelain sockets, accepts 5 standard A19 bulbs. 25” diameter, 21” height. Note: Have also seen this Lightolier design attributed to Gerald Thurston, a similarly well-documented and desirable design affiliation.
