Vintage Nippon Kogaku Nikon M rangefinder camera unsynched. READ

Description: Fresh from local estate sale, this vintage Nippon Kogaku Nikon M rangefinder camera SN 6092024 without flash synchronization. Because of my limited knowledge on the subject, I will try my best to describe what I see in front of me. Camera is in very good used cosmetic condition and seems complete (see images). Mechanically, it will need a complete overhaul. Shutter curtains look good, but only one fires when the shutter is wound, the second curtain is there, but it does not follow the first. I also noticed that shutter speed dial is somewhat loose and setting the speeds not possible. The viewfinder looks nice and clean. Camera comes with fine Tokyo Nikkor-S 5cm f/1.4 lens SN 50050178 in superb condition, with super-clean optics and original bakelite cap. All leather covering looks intact, and a large centerpiece in the back is stamped (Made in Occupied Japan) in the lower-left corner (see image). The camera also comes with a very nice half-case which is also stamped (Made in Occupied Japan). A very uncommon camera that with little help will make a great addition to any collection. Selling AS-IS for repair or parts.
