Wear is consistent with age. Tension spring is in excellent condition has great compression and works as it should. There are some scratches from the hooks being adjusted by sliding them up and down the pole. Hooks hold well when in place. Hooks can be adjusted. Hooks need to be twisted a little so they lock into place. Otherwise it will slide easily.
