I have not attempted to turn the mechanism to close it. I will leave this repair/adjustment for the buyer.There is damage to the black covering on the camera. There is a chip that has come off and has been saved and will come with the camera. There is a small missing portion of the black covering that is missing. The black covering is intact, but lose on left hand side of camera. This covering is delicate in this condition. Must be handled with care to ensure no additional damage to the covering.
