Each piece is individually carved and sits on a Chinese puzzle ball. The height of each piece: King 5.5” Queen 4.250" Bishop 3.125” Rook 3.00” Knight 2.75” Pawn 2.67" The chess board also serves as a storage place for the chess pieces, it is lined in velvet and when opened and set up the board is 19 x 19 x3” with squares 2.25”. The set consists of white pieces and tea stained brown pieces. This is a NEW beautiful set that has never been used. Has been stored for 60+ years. I have all of the original packing and the outer box. My brother purchased this set in 1960 when he was deployed overseas. A beautiful set for a Chess Enthusiast or for an Investment.
