Description: Vintage Chicago Womens Betty Lytle Hyde Roller Skates #78 Wheels Size 4 (6.5-7) I'm unsure of the year for these and I cannot find an exact pair online. Outsole measures approx. 24.5cm They have some scuffs and scrapes, some rust on the bottoms, and some cracks in the wheels. The soles of the boots have "Betty Lytle" on them, as well as "HYDE" and " Goodyear Welt" with a wavy texture. The back of the tongues seems to be shearling. The wheels actually still spin very well and the bearings look good (see video) and read "'CHICAGO' No. 78 REG. PAT. No. 2300444" on one side and "'CHICAGO' PAT. PEND. No. 78 REG." on the other. The wheels look skinnier than others I've seen and measure approx. 7/8 inch wide. The metal plate reads "CHICAGO ROLLER SKATE CO. WARE BROS MADE IN U.S.A." and this label is at the toe of the plate. There are sharpie markings of "MKK" on the linings. There are no labels/tags inside of the boots.
