Description: This is a fairly hard to find doll here in the US! She's from Denmark, and would've been sold as a baggie doll, I believe called Miss Denmark. She looks very much like Barbie! She's lived quite a life, so she's not perfect, but is SO pretty! Please take a look at all of the photos and note the following details:Some kid long ago cut her bangs, so she's styled as a swirl ponytail. Hair is a bit thin on the top. Spot on underneath side of right hand, pin holes in torso front and back, ear holes quite rough (but earring covers it), some dents on feet. Normal scratching and wear to plastic. She is hollow plastic, as are most clone fashion dolls.Her hip joints move a bit too smoothly, so you may want to add a clear elastic band (I'll include some for you) to keep them more stable. However, she balances fine on her stand and I don't see any problem with leaving her as is. I made her little dog, Lars, who is a pure bred mutt, haha! Miss Denmark takes "adopt, don't shop" very seriously! I also made the leash and collar with help from my 86-year old Mom (thanks, Mom!)My husband made her wooden stand with a metal prong, because she has holes in her feet like the original #1 Barbie - she originally would have come with a rectangular black plastic stand. Only one of her feet (her left) will easily glide onto the prong, so I've only got a hole in one of her shoes. She looks like an Evergreen clone, but if she was made by Evergreen, she is not marked as such. She's marked Made in Hong Kong on her back. Smoke-free, pet-free (except pipe cleaner pets, of course) home. Please let me know if you have any questions.
