Description: Vintage Butterfly Applique Quilt - 1940s - Feedsack - Purple - Yellow - Hand Stitched This butterfly quilt from the 1940s features a lavender and yellow border with appliqued butterflies. The background on the butterfly panels as well as the backing of the quilt is soft, off white feedsack cloth. The butterflies feature lovely 1940s prints in florals, dots, and more that are blanket stitched onto their panels. Only two fabrics repeat. This is an entirely hand stitched piece. It's a lightweight quilt with no batting perfect for the summer. It's in very nice vintage condition - only a few very light, small spots that are hardly noticeable. No tears, holes, or loose seams. 82" x 66". Quilts shown on a queen size bed for reference. All quilts are vintage or antique. They have usually been well-loved and will show wear from use which may include: spots, loose or open seams, shattered patches, small holes or tears, fading. Every instance of wear won't necessarily be pictured. However, we do our best to point out any major wear beyond that from normal use and age, and give a good description of general condition so that you know what to expect. Please do ask if you have any questions or would like more photos. All measurements are approximate
