It has been gently hand polished and ultrasonic cleaned in a mild dish soap, and it has nice shine, and is very clean. It is straight, not bent, handle is solid, not loose, has no personal monograms or engravings, with no major issues at all. It is hallmarked on the side STERLING and a script letter L, hallmark for historic and listed US silversmith, La Pierre Mfg. Co. of Newark, New Jersey. They are well known for their vanity and novelty silver such as this.
