Description: Here is a VINTAGE 1920's EXTERIOR DOOR HANDLE. I am not sure of the specific application but I am guessing it to be 1920's, perhaps Packard, Cadillac / LaSalle, or Lincoln as these are the cars that made up the majority of the collection that this handle came from. The square steel shaft is stamped with the following information: "Hancock Mfg. Co. Pat. Mar. 22, 1921". It is very good to excellent used condition. I am guessing the handle is solid brass and would therefore buff out to a bright shine, however we have left it alone with the tarnish (patina) as some folks prefer the aged look for their original application.
