Description: This Vietnam Era North Vietnamese Army Viet Cong VC NLF Flag is in very good, clean condition and only shows mild signs of age and storage. The flag appears to be made from a light cotton material and strongly appears to have been stored away for many years. The color of the fabric is strong, no fading can be detected however one small stain is present. Of note, the photographs in this listing show the flag in a slightly darker tone than it appears in person. The red stitching is strong, a slot for a pole has been stitched into the flag's end. The central star is a separate piece of fabric that has been sewn into the flag. Original Vietnam War era flags typical have stars made in this fashion, flags produced later for special events or anniversaries typically have fully-embroidered stars. The construction style of this flag would appear to indicate original era production but it is difficult to say for certain when and where it was made. The flag roughly measures 26" X 18" and would appear to be the right size for use as a vehicle flag or a field "Spotter" flag.
