Description: The rod seems to be brand new, but the cork is ringed, though it shows no dents or scratches or other signs of wear (see photos). This would suggest to me that it is an old rod completely refurbished. It also has two ferrules, something you seldom see on a 7' 9" fly rod. Most only have one. But, whatever it was, it is a gorgeous rod with a delightful light action. Seven snake guides, black epoxied wraps, beautiful blonde bamboo, nice up-locking hardwood reel seat. The NS ferrules are excellent, fit perfectly. It weighs 4.7 ounces, pretty light for a bamboo fly rod. Takes a 4WT line, I would say. A great rod, in my opinion. Will be shipped in sock in a PVC tube.
