Description: This is THE SPIFFYS 1967 U.S. NAVAL ACADEMY LP RARE PRIVATE GARAGE PSYCH release from 1967 with the U.S. Naval Academy doing Garage/Psych/Rock songs. The vinyl is lower grade with several light to moderate scratches. It played through on my system with one exception and that is track 4 on side 1, the song: "Knock on Wood". That song has a scratch on it that I can feel that causes that track to skip. My needle just played over it, but you may have to lift the needle on this track if it gets stuck. There were a few other songs that had some small pops/skips depending on your needle, but they played through fine. These are songs 1 and 3 on the first side and tracks 10 and 11 on the second side. See track list below for song titles. The cover has some wear with small 1-inch splits or start of splits on 4 corner areas, but these are pretty small and otherwise solid cover with a few light spots/discoloration on back cover, see pics. Obviously, not a mint record, but still a nice filler copy until a better one can be found. Top copies have sold for upwards of $150 before so here is your chance to get one cheap.
