Description: This is an official OEM Sony brand umd drive for the PSP 1000 series system. This WILL NOT work with a PSP 2000/3000/E1000 series system. I test each drive with a game. They all have good load times, read games well, and don’t make any loud screeching sounds. There’s no solder ball to remove from the flex cable, like there would be on most new drives out there. Keep in mind that if your system still doesn’t read games after installing this, then you have an issue with your motherboard (it could be an issue with your umd activator switches or a firmware issue); send me a message if you’re unsure what your issue is before purchasing this umd drive.
