Of all the sterling flasks made, only Gorham produced this size flask! Over 8 1/2 inches long and 5 1/5 inches wide and 3 inches thick. The flask weighs 360 grams! Most sterling repousse flaks only had one side decorated. This flask has a detailed repousse work of flora and fauna on both sides including the locking twist top. The front of the flask displays an allover floral and leaf pattern surround by acanthus leaves on sides and bottom, allowing for an oval cartouche in the center with original owner's initials. The reverse side is completed covered in matching repousse work. This is the holy grail of sterling flasks for collectors!
