The Manifold port size is a 2.659" height x .918" wide RECTANGLE, but the supplied Viton® O-rings provide an OEM style seal that fits CATHEDRAL INTAKES. The Manifold is for cathedral port heads. The supplied O-rings convert the square ports on the manifold to the cathedral ports on the head. The small triangular piece on top of the head does not have to do with air flow at all, but is used for fuel injection. When going to a carburetor, for what the manifold is intended for, it doesn't affect air flow at all. There are no issues at all with airflow because the fuel air mixture is coming from the carburetor above.
