Description: Up for auction are a matching set of antique Stevens & Williams yellow to white silver mica spangle cased art glass pieces, including an 11" long by 9" wide ruffled Bride's Bowl in a silverplate basket and a 6 1/2" tall by 5" wide ruffled Thorn Handle Basket. Both are free from any chips or fleabites. There are a few ash specks embedded in the cased glass of the Brides Basket, which typically occurs during the manufacturing process of cased glass items, and the Thorn Handle Basket, which has one speck of ash in the basket's interior, as well. These two spangle pieces are particularly attractive, as the yellow glass makes the silver mica pieces to appear gold in color! Very nice set!
