Seiko "Pogue" - March 1971 - Pepsi 6139 Chronograph

Description: Decided to let go of my beautiful example of a Pogue. March 1971 SN: 135113. Case ref is 6139-6002. It has the 6139B movement which was recently serviced and running perfect! All the features work properly as shown in this video: https://youtu.be/wcfxibkvbow?si=ZBVXjD-uG8gmX2yV Dial shows some wear around the base of the hands (especially under the chrono minute hand) but is otherwise in fantastic shape. The case has been professionally polished and still shows nice sharp lines. The inner rotating bezel is in excellent shape and nicely faded, however the lume on the arrow marker doesn’t seem to glow anymore. The rest of the lume on the hands/dial glow great! Comes on a nice flat link reproduction, tapered Pogue bracelet with all the links. Way nicer than the average eBay aftermarket Pogue bracelet I’ve encountered. Also includes a very comfortable suede rally strap. The few original parts that were replaced will be included with purchase. Parts replaced in my ownership: Pushers/gaskets/springs - worn Chrono minute hand - missing Crystal - worn Crystal ring/gasket - corroded Stem/Inner crown gear - worn Pepsi Bezel Insert - worn Also just to be clear and not misleading like other listing, this isn’t quite a “true Pogue”. Colonel William Pogue’s watch was a September 1971. It is visually identical to this one but a true Pogue has a SN that starts with 19xxxx (supposedly only 1100 units produced). Pogue’s also had a dial marked 6009T instead of 6030T. This one is a whole 6 months older if you really care :)
