Power amplifier section tests good. AM has good sensitivity. FM has good sensitivity and good stereo operation. Phono: one channel is good, the other channel motorboats. The balance control is good however when turned fully left or fully right the volume decreases; sounds like a ground is missing somewhere? As volume control is advanced it has a scratchy sound but it is not the control; probably bad capacitors. When the receiver power on there is some crackling and the volume comes up slowly; again, probably bad caps? If there is a problem with this item we will refund your payment including shipping.
