Rosewood Tall Post Bed circa 1860

Description: Being offered for sale is an American Empire Bed circa 1860. Made of beautiful rosewood, this will be a statement making bed in any bedroom. The large headboard features a shell carved crest and bead molding. Four clover leaf shaped post are shaped post are solid and heavy. The side rails are also beautifully shaped. Their are two of the post with chips at the top and veneer damage on the top of each rail, as to be expected. Please enlarge all photos to get a good look, it will not disappoint. Measurements: 104 inches high 65 inches total width 84 inches total length Mattress area 53 inches wide and 71 inches long inside measurements.
