Description: Winston LT 389-5 with rare down locking reel seat with beautiful zebra wood insert. Includes original tube and sock. I have fished this rod three or four times. I have owned this for about 5 years. The finish, guides, and guide wraps on this rod are pristine. Ferrules and finish look new. The one exception is a small blemish in the finish in the Winston label wrap. I did this while fishing when I brushed the rod against a branch. A drop of threadmaster lite rod finish has been placed on the area. This blemish is noted in pic # 9. The nickel silver down locking reel seat has some very light scratches as noted in the closeup pictures. The zebra wood insert, and “cigar” cork grip are in excellent condition. Spigot ferrules look new and have minimal wear as noted by the gaps in the pictures. The ferrules are fully seated in the pictures. . The sock is clean, and the tube has a few scratches as noted in the pics. I hope the pictures do an adequate job of depicting the exceptional condition of this rod
