Description: Paperback issue that was definitely not mass market, of Richard Yates - Revolutionary Road. This is the Dell First Edition of March 1971. 330 pages. The binding is tight enough that it's hard to imagine that it was ever read. On the other hand, there is a semi-circular crease just above the cover art (which I can't see in the photo, so I tried again with a close up), and some creasing on the back cover; but none of it corresponds inside the book (not that it necessarily would; but it seems worth mentioning). Also, the lower half of the spine has a crease, as if read; but again, I don't think this ever was. The pages do not want to open very much, and so I'm not pushing it. There is only one marking, a pen squiggle on the very last page, under the text (see photo). There is also a stain on the lower rear part of the spine, as seen in another photo. Inside of the back cover is a somewhat light stain. Other than those items, the book is in quite nice shape. I combine postage, which includes tracking. This will be packed very carefully inside a clean bag, then placed between solid cardboard, on both sides of the book, for safe transit.
