Description: Lionel 8632 steam loco - runs Forward/Neutral/Reverse - SMOKES - headlight works. This is a nice one. Light works. Runs good Forward/Neutral/Reverse. Looks very good to excellent in my opinion. One traction tire. When I got this it did not smoke. I took it apart and found nothing wrong. Put it on the test track and the smoke puffed out good. Put the shell back on and it continues to smoke good. Not sure what I did, but it has worked now for a long time. Sat on my shelf for years. Most of what I am selling will be dusty. They have sat on my shelves for a long time. I am cutting back my collection for health reasons. Some of those health reasons don't allow me to be spreading dust around. So, the dust is free. This is a nice one and fairly rare in my opinion. Check the photos to see if I missed anything. Look at the photos for the real description. Ask questions. Packed, it weighs almost three pounds. I will be using the USPS MEDIUM FIXED RATE box. My zip is 54476. If you think that much weight could be shipped cheaper to your zip, let me know and I will check it out. NOTE...The shipping is quoted as a fixed rate box...I most likely will ship in a smaller box and ship by weight. But the shipping cost will include $3.85 for added insurance to bring the coverage up to the purchase cost. If I can ship it cheaper by weight, then I will add the insurance. If it ships in the fixed rate box, then I will eat the extra cost. This way I am covered against some of the coasts much higher shipping cost. Check the photos. Ask questions. If you get it and then change your mind, you can return it and I will refund the PURCHASE price ONLY, but not the shipping either way. Certainly, ask any questions. I don't think a lot of sellers do refund, because I have never got one, but I DO REFUND. But I do not know the actual shipping cost until I get the receipt back from the PO. If you live on either coast, as well as states adjacent to coast states, please do not pay until I can invoice with a recalculated shipping cost. Almost always, costs will be higher because of the longer shipping distances. It is not fair that some people, aware of this, pay right away and then refuse to pay the additional costs. I refund if my estimate is high, so I think it is fair that people requiring additional shipping cost pay their way. If you get this and change your mind I will refund the purchase price, but will not refund shipping, and you will have to pay return shipping. I will refund shipping if I misrepresent the item, which I try not to do to the best of my knowledge. Shipping... I estimated shipping based on the farthest zip code from me based on weight. The weight estimate might be high. So, the actual cost could be less, depending on where you live and the actual weight. If you live outside the 48 states, obviously it will be higher, and I will invoice accordingly. If the actual shipping costs are less, I will refund the difference. I am DISABLED. I must pay someone $3.00 extra to take the package to the PO and I ADD that cost onto the postage. If you cannot accept that, please pass this offer up. I can't do this otherwise.
