Description: Purchased these boots in 2001 from REI and used them on two packing trips. They've remained in storage since 2001 (65% humidity, non smoking). Exterior is nubuck leather scratches are present but there are no cracks. I treated the exterior with Nikwax when I purchased them.Interior is nicely padded full leather and very comfortable - most comfy boot I ever wore. The Vibram sole is still in great condition. The size stamped inside is UK 7.5 but it fits like a Euro 40.5 or a big US 8
