PRIMITIVE SNOWMAN DOLL,ANTIQUE QUILT,OLD DOILY, OLD COVERLET ,FOLK ART SNOW DOLL

Description: I have a sweet snow doll for you to consider today. She can sit or hang by the wire on her back.She measures 20" tall to the top of her cap.Made from aged osnaburg with a hand stitched face and a stuffed sculpted, painted and aged carrot nose.Her cap and skirt are made from an old coverlet I have added cotton lace around the edges. I have also added a rusty bell at the end of her cap and 2 quilt patches hand stitched on her skirt.Her jacket is made from an antique quilt, I have added cotton lace around the edges and an old red button down the front.At her neck I have added a scarf from a old dresser scarf, antique lace, a small metal cookie cutter in the shape of a star,a crumpled ribbon bow and a rusty bell all tucked in moss.Her pantaloons are also made from the old coverlet and gathered around her legs. I have not added anything to the edge of her pantaloons.Her old boots are painted and aged.Tied to her arm is an aged tag that reads SNOW LADY, I have signed and dated the back. I have also signed and dated her on her back.She has been dusted with cinnamon and old time mica flakes for the vintage sparkle.Sit her on a old chair or bench, hang her from a hook or cupboard door....so many ideas!What a wonderful addition to your collection or a great gift for the snow doll lover!
