Description: This was a custom Order Mill for "finish surface" wax milling on a Sanders Design International (SDI) Model 20/20 3D printer. Now freshly sharpened with 600 grit diamond wheel. Future additional sharpening available if you need it for additional cost of $200. Bearing surface is 0.490 inches. The overall length of this tool is 11.25 inches with a full 8 flute cutting edge width of 8.5 inches. Drive shaft length is 1.00 inch long, 0.25 inch diameter for a belt pulley drive. This is a historically significant part from the (SDI) inventory of original Rapid Tool Making era machines produced in the 1990's at Sanders International Design in New Hampshire. The Sanders Model 20/20 was the last 3D inkjet printer produced before the company (SDI) was ordered to stop producing 3D Printers. This cutter is a rare example of the combination 'subtractive' and 'additive" technology needed for some inkjet technologies or specifically the single-nozzle inkjet with drop-on-demand (DOD) hotmelt liquid plastic 3D materials originally from Howtek, Inc.. This is an excellent milling blade and can be used for other purposes. This is a rare find at a very special price. It would cost 5X more if purchased new.
