Philco Tube Clock Radio Mid-century Modern 54-9392 Project

Description: This listing is for a very cool philco tube clock radio in good condition. It has a great looking mid-century modern look to it. It's in pretty good condition, but has a small chip here and there and looks like it is missing one small trim piece in the front. When I plug it in, it does power up, and the clock works. I can't get anything out of the radio though. It makes a humming sound which leads me to believe it probably needs a cap job. Also, I can visually see a capacitor that is cracked in half on the inside (See close up pic of "bumblebee" cap). Most likely this will solve the issue, but since I can't test it any further as it is I am offering it for parts or not working. It should be a pretty easy fix and you will have a very cool vintage nostalgic tube clock radio. I don't know the exact manufacturer but I would guess it is probably from the 1950s.
