Pair of French Empire ormolu and crystal tiered dessert stands / surtout de table attributed to Pierre-Philippe Thomire. Circa 1810. This exquisite tiered dessert stands feature lotus leaves and wreath handles. The original Crystal plates are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. They feature a cut and etched grape and vine design. In the photographs, you will see other dessert stands like these. All of the examples like these I have found have either been stamped Thomire or attributed to Thomire. Very good condition with original gilding.
