Description: Pair Antique Vintage 1930's Art Deco Lady Reclining Bookends J B Hirsch. Not marked but I have been collecting bookends for decades and I am certain these are made by J B Hirsch, the slate bases are a typical Hirsch style and the women figures are similar to Gerdago that was also a typical Hirsch type. That being said, I have never seen another pair of bookends in this exact same pattern so these are certainly quite rare. One bookend has a repaired crack and it is a good repair in my opinion, the other figure is fine, the black polished slate bases have a couple small edge flakes, otherwise good condition - see the many detailed photos.
