Description: Dating to the early 1930’s, these high style art deco sconces were made by Lightolier, one of America's premier residential lighting manufacturers (the pertinent page from their 1933 catalog is provided here for your reference). The gilded cast iron back plates house art glass shades made by Consolidated Glass of Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. Consolidated Glass and its successor, Phoenix Glass were renowned art glass makers and their products are highly prized by art deco enthusiasts today. These fixtures have been restored and refurbished and are ready for contemporary installation. The original metallic gilt paint finish has been retained and remains in good vintage condition.* The original sockets and sleeves have been refurbished with new. They accept standard medium base Edison bulbs (not included). Original brass rotary switches have been retained and newly wired. All additional wiring is new. New mounting hardware and caps are included.
