Item Description: This auction is for an old original patch that was recently purchased with a large scrapbook full of World War 2 era patches. This book belonged to a lady that worked at the Norfolk Naval Base during World War 2 and she decided to make a scrapbook with patches that were given to her from soldiers and pilots that she met during her time there. There were over 150 patches in the scrapbook which included this patch. The last 2 pictures show the front of the scrapbook cover and the page of patches that this patch came off of. The scrapbook cover and the page are not included in this auction. This auction is only for the one patch shown in the first two pictures. The patch is an 8th Air Force theater made patch that has the clipped stubby wings. The patch measures about 2.6" wide. It does have some damage on the top edge. There is some glue residue on the back where this patch was glued down to the scrapbook page. Please take a look at all of the pictures for condition.
