Description: Original Signed and Framed Leo Ritter Floral Still Life Oil Painting, Bouquet of Italian Anemone Leo Ritter was a listed artist, born in Linz, Austria in 1915 and resided in Vienna. He was a still life painter whose subject was most frequently flowers. This original oil on art board, from the 1960's, is professionally framed in a gold-toned hand carved wooden frame with a dark brown velvet mat surround. There is a narrow area of damage along the top border of the painting visible in detail in the last photo above. In excellent vintage condition with some wear consistent with age. Dimensions: Frame = 14 3/4 x 16 3/4 inches Mat Opening = 7 1/2 x 9 1/2 inches Condition: The painting is bright, colorful and clean showing no signs of fading or discoloration. There is a narrow strip of damage at the top near the mat edge (see last photo). The frame is clean and sturdy with very minor signs of age and use only visible upon very close inspection.
