Very high quality heavy black wool cap with gold wire braiding on the visor and with Royal Artillery badge With blackpatent leather chinstrap and brass RA buttons In very good condition except for one small hole on the top edge Makers label showing a Victorian crown but with maker name incomplete (W S Carver or similar ?) of King Street London. Retains excellent shape - has an unusual cork upper lining. Size approx 55-56 Tin measures - 21 cm high, 28.5cm diameter
