Description: >Offered here is an old and original 1987 Costacos Bros. JIM MCMAHON "I Shall Return" still-sealed Door-Sized football poster!! Please see all five photos, as they are an important part of my description. >What sets this very rare poster apart from all others is that it has remained sealed in its original cellophane packaging for over thirty-five years! Found at a local estate, this Jim McMahon poster was produced by Costacos Bros., Inc. (Seattle, Washington). The Costacos Brothers original label on one end says: "Jim McMahon - I Shall Return"; the label also shows the poster's "1987" year-of-issue. This vintage sports poster was issued while McMahon was in the latter stages of his Chicago Bears career in the N.F.L. The poster is larger than most Costacos Bros. posters, as it is a "door-sized" poster, measuring approximately 26" x 74". >History: Jim McMahon is a former NFL quarterback who played professionally from 1982-96. He played for 15 seasons, most notably with the Chicago Bears who he won a Super Bowl with in 1986 (the year before this poster was issued). After his Bears' career, injuries set in and affected the remainder of his playing days with the San Diego Chargers, Philadelphia Eagles, Minnesota Vikings, Arizona Cardinals, Cleveland Browns and Green Bay Packers. Collegiately, Jim McMahon played for Brigham Young University (aka BYU; Brigham Young Cougars), where he was a two-time All-American and later a 1998 inductee of the College Football Hall of Fame. McMahon was chosen with the 5th pick in the 1982 NFL Draft. Aside from his Super Bowl triumph, McMahon was also known for wearing a headband in the pros, and for wearing shades outside of football (due to an old eye injury). <>Condition: this vintage football poster appears to be in *Fine Shape* overall, exhibiting only minor age/handling faults from prior storage! The Costaco's end label remains fully intact, but is kind of "scrunched"... but that end of the poster remains uniformly round! The other end of the poster is similarly nice and round, and not compressed! The "guts" of the poster shows no obvious dents or compression issues as well! The poster should display super...or, keep it sealed for posterity!
