Oliver #3 Antique Typewriter 1898 Extremely rare in this condition Serial 124896

Description: The Oliver Number 3 Bat Wing Typewriter. Last patent date of March 1st 1898. Serial Number 124896. Excellent condition esthetically and in functionality. All keys, roller and gears operate as intended. The graphics are bold and crisp. The plating is in great shape. No missing parts. It needs a ribbon and oiling. since some gears and keys are sticking or slow. The underside of the typewriter is missing two-foot pads. The dust cover case leather handle is broken off one side and the cover has a little rust on the sides and latches but no major damages, dings or paint loss. The glare in the photos makes it appear that the paint on the typewriter is missing in areas. Needs a cleaning and nickel plating some buffing which i am leaving up to the buyer. The typewriter was taken off the wood base years ago for display purposes. See photos which are part of the description. Overall size of typewriter 15'' W x 15'' D x 10-1/2'' H. Weight 24 lbs.
