Description: O Scale 24" Girder Bridge Trestle Kit This 24" long by 6" wide by 6.5" high trestle assembles in twenty to thirty minutes. Kit includes four ready to assemble four sided trestles and four girder bridge platforms. To construct the bridge, insert the trestle side pieces into the slots of the trestle end pieces. Then glue the girder bridge platforms onto the tops of the trestles. The base structure includes four wide plastic trestle units reinforced with triangle brackets bonded on all sides and to each other. The girder bridge pieces are single cast with crossbeams for added support. Trestle structure is gray but can be easily be repainted using most model paints. This wide format trestle works well as an elevated trestle line or bridge. It is high enough to accommodate O scale train locomotives and cars passing underneath it either under or through it. The top is wide enough to support either one line of track with built in roadbed such as Fastrack or two lines of track without roadbed such as O27 tubular, Atlas, etc. The trestle is strong enough to support most locomotive models offered by Lionel, MTH, Atlas, etc. Track piece shown in photo is for size reference and is not included in this listing.
