Description: NICE Pair of MCM 1940s ULRICH Victorian Design ART DECO French CERAMIC Urn LAMPS Very nice looking matched pair of Ulrich type boudoir Martha Washington lamps. Beautiful pearly swirly pinkish red marbled coloration and glaze, gold highlights in places, the main center image is Martha Washington I believe. Complete with the brass looking shade harps but no shades or shade finials are included. These measure about 11-1/2 inches up to the top of the socket, about 17 inches with harp attached, 5-1/4 inches across the base which may actually be brass as they are non-magnetic. Both have period Bakelite plugs with about 2 foot of cord, would have been used as matching bedside table lamps. Absolutely beautiful overall condition, these lamps have been well cared for and have no chips, cracks, flea bites or stains, gold highlights have some wear, metal surface has some surface rust in places but certainly not bad, the overall appearance is really variegated and worn weathered marbled looking but is supposed to be that way, it does not appear to be wear as its under the glaze. Harps will be removed from lamps to ease packing requirements.
