Description: ARTIST: Lykke Li TITLE: Little Bit FORMAT: 10" Vinyl LABEL: LL Recordings (Self-Released) CAT NO: LLR001 DATE OF RELEASE: September 2007 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: Sweden RARE 2007 Swedish 10" Vinyl EP on LL Recordings. This was Lykke Li's debut release, which was self-released on her own label. Limited Edition of 500, only available from the Swedish distributor 'Hotstuff'. "Eager to pursue a music career, Li began working with producer Björn Yttling of Swedish indie rock band Peter Bjorn and John when she was 19. The sessions resulted in her debut EP Little Bit, which she released on her own label LL Recordings in 2007. The release garnered attention from indie pop and mainstream publications in Sweden, while its title track peaked at number 20 on the Sverigetopplistan singles chart". In January 2008, I'm Good, I'm Gone was her second release in Sweden, followed by the 1st issue of her album Youth Novels. The sharp rise continued and Lykke was signed up worldwide. February 2008, Little Bit was re-released in the UK as a 7" single on the Moshi Moshi label and in May 2008, a CD EP was released in the US. Also, during 2008, a 12" EP was released in Europe. CONDITION Sleeve is NEAR MINT Vinyl is NEAR MINT / UNPLAYED As this has been stored away in my collection since purchase for the past 17 years, I would say this is 'NEW' but will just say it's NEAR MINT. It still managed to gather dust on the vinyl, How? Who knows how it gets there?? I'll leave you to clean it off! GRADING THE CONDITION I use an Industry Standard Grading System called the ?Record Collectors Grading System?. The following explains what each grade means: *I also add PLUS if it's a little better than the standard description. MINT (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Un-played should be Mint. EXCELLENT (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable GOOD (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc. FAIR(F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. POOR (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing BAD (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler CD's and CASSETTES As a general rule CD's and Cassettes either play perfectly, in which case they are in Mint condition, or they don't, in which case their value is minimal. Cassette tape is liable to deteriorate with age, even if it remains un-played, so care should be taken when buying old tapes. CD?s are difficult to grade visually; they can look perfect but actually be faulty, while in other cases they may appear damaged but still play perfectly. Cassette and CD inlays and booklets should be graded in the same way as record covers and sleeves. In general, the plastic containers for cassettes and CDs can easily be replaces if they are broken or scratched, but card covers and digipaks are subject to the same wear as record sleeves.
