Description: Lustrous Black Calcite Crystals on Matrix from Romania. This unique specimen features several sharp and highly lustrous Calcite points on a black and white banded matrix. The Calcite crystals are black with a slight amount of translucency towards their tops. They have gorgeous surface texture and a bit of iridescence. A few of the points have a secondary growth of sparkly white tiny Calcite covering them. Please take a good look at the photos to better determine the condition for yourself.
