Description: This auction is for a Lucent (Symmetricom) RFTGm-II-Rb Frequency Standard based on the LPRO Rubidium Module. This system is in excellent physical and electrical condition and the LPRO is a late Symmetricom branded oscillator. Please refer to the listing photos which show the unit operating normally. The photos show the default Rb unit Online (locked) but does not have the matching Lucent RFTGm-II-XO so the top GPS unlocked LED is lit. Included: One - RFTGm-II-Rb KS-24019 L108 CC 407921329 module is based on an internal 10MHz Symmetricom Branded LPRO Rubidium Oscillator. The RFTGm-II-Rd has two 10MHz outputs and one 15MHz output. An aftermarket power supply. With the included supply the system is "Plug & Play". These Lucent systems are popular because they are based on 10 MHz oscillators and most purchasers would prefer all 10MHz outputs. In response after market user have posted a number of articles on the internet detailing various ways to remove/modify the internal electronics to convert the 15MHz to 10MHz. So although there is not much manufacturer information on these there are a number other online resources documenting modifications on these and other similar variants such as the RFTGm-II-Rb providing details on modifying all ouputs into great low phase noise 10MHz bench frequency standards.
