Description: Lionel Post War 726RR Berkshire 2-8-4 Steam Locomotive with 8 wheeled 2046W tender, possibly 1952. The 726rr Berkshire and its scale-like 2046W tender are among the nicest steam locomotive and tender combinations offered in the postwar era Features include a black painted die-cast shell with silver numbers, full complement of driving hardware, a hinged boiler front, an ornamental bell and a decorative whistle. Both green marker lamps are intact. There are light nicks, scratches, and spots on this item. Small areas of paint wear, chips, and abrasions are present on the body and chassis. The wheels show some signs of wear from previous use. train has some wear and some mild oxidation (see pictures for fine details). This Lionel Post War locomotive and tender are a great addition to any model train collection. Made from high-quality diecast materials. Vintage, this die-cast train is intact, but not tested.
