You can adjust the valve in 2 seconds with just your fingers and without any tools or the need to seat a jam nut to hold the valve setting. Allows easy 'eye balling' of the valve setting as you change media type and PSI of the air delivered to the gun; 2) Comes with metal media drain plug at the bottom instead of a cheap plastic plug which suffers from stripped threads after a few removals and reinstalls due to the abrasive media getting into the threads; 3) Greater metering valve chamber volume, especially in the area where the air enters the mixing chamber from air bleed valve, creates much greater turbulence that increases the mixing of the air and the blast media to give a steady delivery of the suspended media to the gun (see picture #5 for comparison). 4) Virtually indestructible; 5) Costs less !! 6) Much cooler steampunk look !!
