Description: We do not ship to California or Hawaii. This vivid pink to red hydrangea is a hardy, easy to grow and compact plant (2 - 3') great for small gardens and containers; loads of 6 inch ball shaped blooms against dark green glossy foliage; flowers may be purple in more acidic soil; blooms on old wood. These are hardy from zones 6-9. Masja Hydrangea features bold balls of hot pink flowers at the ends of the branches from early summer to early fall. The flowers are excellent for cutting. It has forest green deciduous foliage. The glossy pointy leaves do not develop any appreciable fall color. Masja Hydrangea is a multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with a more or less rounded form. Its relatively coarse texture can be used to stand it apart from other landscape plants with finer foliage. These plants are currently fully rooted in quart pots and are nicely branched. The height really depends on what time of the year it currently is and will change quickly once new growth starts. Please note that I guarantee my plants to be 'true to name' and to arrive in good condition. I cannot know though, that you will plant them properly, water them as required or that your puppy will not dig them up. I also have no control over weather conditions, so please don't ask me to guarantee your planting success. But if for some reason your plants don't arrive in good condition, return the plants within 7 days and I will be happy to either replace them or refund the cost of the plants. My plants all have good root systems. Roots are the foundation of a healthy plant. I ship my plants in two basic forms, semi-bareroot and in containers. Either way, your plants arrive ready to plant directly into the ground or into containers. Depending on the specific time of year, your plants may arrive in an active growing state, a dormant state (no leaves) or a semi-dormant state (leaves starting to turn color and drop). I do occasionally cut back my plants to enhance growth and health. This creates a stronger, fuller plant when planted in your garden. So please understand if your plant has been cut back. HOW YOUR PLANTS ARE SHIPPED/WHAT TO EXPECT: Plants don't enjoy shipping very much and can look a bit bedraggled when they arrive to their new home. The newspaper and snug quarters may cause some minor damage to foliage. Some types of plants will even drop leaves in protest. This is not cause for alarm. Please remove your plant promptly from the box and give fresh water. Don't allow it to sit in water. Re-acclimate to the sunlight gradually. If this is a plant you are unfamiliar with, it helps to do online research or find a book on its care. Ortho has an excellent book on houseplants and even provides information on care and receiving plants through the mail. I do combine shipping and give discounts on multiple purchase shipping. For single item auctions, I charge $10.50 for the first plant and $2.00 for each additional item shipped with the first, resulting in a $8.50 discount per plant on multiple purchases. If you ever have any questions or issues with your plant, I can't help you if you don't let me know about it, so please email me with any question you may have.
