Description: For sale is this Hot Wheels 1/18 scale model of the 2007 McLaren Mercedes MP4-22 as it appeared driven by the then F1 rookie Lewis Hamilton. Years ago when I purchased the model, I removed it from its near-mint condition box to add a proper Johnnie Walker decal to the left and right barge boards and to sand down the tires so that they appear more race-worn and true to reality. Some of the tire material I let stay on the model to mimic race debris and rubber grime that the real cars accumulate during the course of a grand prix event, so this model has a slightly "raced version" accent. The model has been displayed only inside its box after customizations/modification were made, so the car is dust free. Model is like new as is its packaging. If you are a Lewis Hamilton fan then you will appreciate having his rookie 2007 season car on display.
