Improvements from v1 include better drag brake, adjustable and more accurate sensors, better performance in reverse rotation rigs, beefier solder tabs for lower resistance, and a sideways oriented sensor port for tight installs. To prevent motor damage, be sure that screws are not inserted more than 3.5mm into the mounting holes.
