The front plates were carefully designed to eliminate as many voids that occur when using flat plates and transfer the load more evenly to the hull. However, due to the mentioned inconsistencies, it is possible that a minor amount of reshaping may be needed. This can be done very easily by heating up the back plate just enough to make it malleable, and then simply pressing it into position until it cools.
